The Birth of This Project

While working on various products, I was always searching for the next meaningful direction. By chance, I discovered the field of epitaphs—not a particularly popular area, but certainly an endpoint worthy of everyone's attention.

We all face mortality. What final words would we wish to leave behind?

Our Discovery

With this question in mind, I began exploring. While a few websites featured epitaphs, very few connected them with the people and stories behind them.

I believe that these final words—these epitaphs—and the people and stories behind them are equally worth understanding. Why were these particular words chosen?

Our Mission

I hope to gain strength from these stories while honoring those who have passed. I hope you, too, can find strength through this project.
